The Kalamazoo Police Department responded to a motor vehicle crash that injured a person. The crash happened on West Main Street Monday night.
According to the police, the crash occurred when a person was hit by a small dark-colored SUV. The unidentified victim was lying on the roadway and was responsive.
The victim was taken to the hospital and is reported to be stable.
The vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash has front-end damage. Police are looking for the suspect.
