1 Person Injured In A Hit-And-Run Crash In Monroe (Monroe, WA)

According to the Monroe Police, a hit-and-run crash was reported at the intersection of Chain Lake Road and Tjerne Place. 

The officials stated that a 26-year-old Sultan man was detained by police for driving under the influence for 3 hours. He was not booked into jail.

Following the release, the man in his Ford Explorer ran over a red light and crashed into a Ford F-150. The Sultan man fled the scene following the crash.

According to the officers, the driver of the Ford F-150 suffered a large bump on her head and bruises. 

Officers detained the suspect when he stopped due to a flat tire on his vehicle. 

The police have booked the suspect into the jail in Everett. 

According to the officer, the suspect was driving under the influence of intoxicants other than alcohol. 

The identity of the victim has not been released by the officials.
