The Police Department reported a hit-and-run crash in Macon on Sunday.
The accident happened on PioNono Avenue at around 7:18 p.m.
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in PioNono Avenue’s 300 blocks.
The victim was transported by ambulance to Atrium Navicent Health in critical condition and now he is stable.
The name and identity of the victim have not been released.
The responsible driver fled the scene.
It is unsure what caused the crash.
Whether drugs or alcohol are a factor involved is yet to be found.
The crash is being investigated by the officials.
