On Tuesday night, officials responded to a chase that resulted in a car crash. Following the collision, the driver was thrown from the vehicle.
The car was damaged in the crash. The driver, who is yet to be identified by the police, was taken to the hospital for unknown injuries.
Livermore Fire Chief Dan Moyles reported the driver was speeding and left the roadway.
