Official reports state that 1 person was taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash early Friday morning. The incident took place at the intersection of Parker Lane and East Riverside Drive at 1:05 AM.
Austin-Travis County EMS medics and Austin Fire crews responded to the scene of the crash and 1 person was declared a trauma alert.
They were swiftly transported by ATCEMS to Dell Seton Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.
In addition to this, Austin Energy crews also responded to the scene to repair downed power lines caused by the crash, leading to traffic delays.
No additional information about the motor vehicle crash was made available at this time. The condition and identity of the victim are currently unknown.
