1 person injured after getting pinned in a vehicle following a crash in Carson City (Carson City, NV)

On Wednesday afternoon, one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident in Carson City.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Carson City Aquatic Facility near Roop Street and Washington Street. The early reports showed that the vehicle struck a utility pole in the process.

On arrival, responders found a vehicle on its side with one person pinned inside. At approximately 2:26 p.m., rescuers successfully freed the trapped victim. Officials confirmed that the person did not sustain any life-threatening injuries. No other details are available.

An investigation is continuing.
