1 person injured after an auto-pedestrian crash in Tucson’s midtown (Tucson, AZ)

On Tuesday, one person suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Tucson’s midtown.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place near East 26th Street and South Craycroft Road. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck a person for reasons that are yet to be known. It is unclear if the driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene or not after the accident.

Officers asked motorists to expect delays and adopt alternate routes while crews worked at the scene. The identity of the injured pedestrian has not been revealed at this time. No other information has been provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
