1 person injured after an auto-pedestrian collision near Muskegon (Muskegon, MI)

On Tuesday morning, one person suffered injuries after getting hit by a vehicle near Muskegon.

As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place at about 7 a.m. near the intersection of Hall Road and Raaps Way in Egelston Township, east of Muskegon. It is close to Oakridge High and Middle schools.

The pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the accident. The identity of the victim has not been revealed as of Tuesday morning. The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officials. No further details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
