On Monday evening, one person suffered injuries after a pickup smashed into a power pole and then struck a business in Bothell.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at the corner of Bothell Way Northeast and Reder Way. The early reports showed that the driver suffered a medical emergency before the pickup slammed into the pole and then a building. On arrival, paramedics transported the victim to a hospital in unknown condition.
The incident did not lead to any other injuries, but the power pole was damaged. A Puget Sound Energy crew responded to the scene to check the pole. The building, which has a sign for Caliber Home Loans, did not suffer much damage as a result of the collision. No other details are made available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
