1 person injured after a two-vehicle wreck in Holland Township (Holland, MI)

On Tuesday evening, a 29-year-old Holland man suffered injuries following a traffic collision between a semi-tractor trailer and car in Holland Township.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place on US 31. The early reports showed that a 65-year-old Kentwood man driving a 2014 Freightliner north ignored a red light at Felch Street. Just then, the semi crashed into a Cadillac, driven by the Holland man, that had been traveling east on Felch.

On arrival, an AMR Ambulance crew transported the Holland man to Holland Hospital in serious condition. Holland Township firefighters provided assistance at the scene. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation is continuing.
