1 person injured after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 82 (Kennewick, WA)

On Thursday, one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision on Interstate 82.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash occurred near the intersection with Coffin Road, approximately 12 miles south of the Kennewick city limits. The early reports indicated that a black Sedan and a big rig were involved in the accident.

On arrival, emergency personnel transported the driver of the car to the nearest hospital with serious, but non-fatal injuries. Officials have not released any information about the semi-truck driver. The events that have led up to the crash remain unknown at this time. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
