On Wednesday night, a 61-year-old Bremerton man suffered injuries following a traffic collision on North Shore Road.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place on State Route 300 (North Shore Road) at around 7 PM. The early reports showed that a 1976 pickup was eastbound on SR-300. As the truck reached milepost 1.1 (near Pat’s Little Red Barn), it crossed over the fog line as a result of which the driver overcorrected into the westbound lane and crashed into a westbound 2018 pickup truck.
The driver of the 1976 truck, a 61-year-old man, was taken to St. Michaels Hospital in Bremerton for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the 2018 truck, a 54-year-old man, remained uninjured. Both trucks were wrecked after the accident. No further details are available.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
