1 person injured after a two-vehicle collision in Fresno County (Fresno County, CA)

On Wednesday afternoon, one person received injuries following a traffic collision in Fresno County.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place on Fowler Avenue and Conejo Avenue. The preliminary investigation revealed that a Ford F-150 driver approached Fowler Avenue when he assumed that the intersection was a four-way stop, but he was wrong. The driver turned and smashed into a GMC Safari with eight occupants.

The force of the collision caused the Safari to flip over. On arrival, medics transported one person to Community Regional Medical Center for head pain. Some involved victims complained of pain but did not need to be taken to the hospital. No other details are made available.

The crash remains under investigation.
