1 person injured after a hit-and-run crash in Emerald Hills (San Diego, CA)

On Thursday, a man suffered injuries after the car he was in crashed into a pair of parked vehicles in the Emerald Hills Encanto neighborhood, while the driver drove away from the scene.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place in the 6000 block of Federal Boulevard, close to 60th Street, at 4:36 a.m. The early reports showed that a man was riding in a 2018 Honda Accord when the driver of the vehicle hit the parked cars for undetermined reasons.

The driver fled the scene, leaving the injured passenger in the car. On arrival, officers found the man unconscious. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was listed in stable condition with minor injuries. It is unknown if he was cooperating with the officers in their search for the driver. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under active review.
