One person suffered injuries after their vehicle slammed into a pole in Memphis.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident took place at Chelsea Avenue and Thomas Street. The early reports showed that a vehicle crashed into a pole for undetermined reasons. Due to the impact, the vehicle got engulfed in flames.
One person was reportedly pinned inside the vehicle as a result of the accident. On arrival, emergency responders rescued and rushed the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The incident did not lead to any other injuries, officials reported. No additional information has been provided.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
