1 person injured after a car vs. snow plow truck collision on SR-532 in Snohomish County (Stanwood, WA)

One person suffered injuries following a car vs. snow plow truck collision Saturday in Snohomish County on a snow covered road.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 2:30 p.m. on State Route 532 near 64th Avenue NW, just east of Stanwood. The early reports revealed that the driver of a Ford Taurus failed to maintain control of their vehicle before sliding across the center line and crashing into the snow plow.

On arrival, emergency crews transported one person to a local hospital with non-fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported in the accident. Officials shut down several lanes in the area as crews worked at the scene. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
