On Monday morning, one person was hospitalized following a traffic collision in Memphis.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at Austin Peay and Yale Rd. On arrival, emergency crews rushed one person to the hospital with critical injuries. The events that have led up to the accident remain unknown at this time.
The inside north and south lanes on Austin Peay Road were shut down as crews worked at the scene. South bound traffic going into Memphis was also congested. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
