On Tuesday, one person suffered critical injuries following a traffic collision at I-10 west.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle collision took place a little after 11 a.m. on I-10 west and Horizon. The early reports showed that an RV and a semi-truck were involved in the accident. On arrival, medical personnel rushed a passenger in the RV to the hospital in critical condition.
Officials closed three lanes of I-10 west as crews worked at the scene. According to the officials, drivers are exiting at Horizon. Traffic was rerouted on Gateway West. There were no traffic delays due to the crash. Authorities later confirmed that all lanes have been cleared. No other details are made available.
The incident remains under investigation.
