On early Monday morning, one person suffered injuries following a semi-truck accident in Baton Rouge.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle wreck was reported after 5 a.m. in the 3200 block of Thomas Road. The early reports showed that an 18-wheeler crashed for reasons that are yet to be known.
According to the officials, the driver of the 18-wheeler was extradited and airlifted to a local hospital in critical condition. The events that have led up to the crash remain unknown at this time. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. No other details are made available.
The crash remains under investigation.
