On Sunday, one person suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a train in Tucson.
As per the initial information, the pedestrian crash took place at about 10:30 AM near Interstate 10 and West Grant Road. The early reports showed that a Union Pacific train struck one person. On arrival, emergency crews rushed the pedestrian to the local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
According to the authorities, the crew did not receive any injuries and train traffic has resumed. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. No other information has been provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
