On Saturday afternoon, one person sustained critical injuries following a fiery crash on General Beale Road.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place shortly after 2:00 p.m. on General Beale Road and Highway 58 in which a semitrailer truck and a vehicle were involved. The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle went down an embankment due to the collision.
Officials blocked eastbound traffic on Highway 58 at General Beale Road as crews worked at the scene. All the lanes on the General Beale Road off-ramp on Highway 58 were back open by 3:13 p.m. No other details are available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
