1 person hurt after a two-vehicle collision in SE Houston (Houston, TX)

On Monday, one person suffered injuries after a collision between a car and a fire truck in SE Houston.

As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at about 3:35 p.m. in the 13400 block of the Gulf Freeway. The early reports showed that a fire engine was blocking the roadway for another accident when a vehicle crashed into it.

The firefighters remained unharmed in the accident, but another person was taken to the hospital with minimal injuries. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed at this time. No other details are immediately available.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
