One person was hurt after a semi-truck slammed into the Rodeway Inn Tuesday afternoon in Castaic.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the 31000 block of Castaic Road in Castaic after getting reports of a traffic accident, involving a structure at the Rodeway Inn motel at about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The early reports indicated that the driver exited the big rig and did not apply the parking brake which caused the truck and trailer to roll across the street and into the hotel building. The unit that the semi-truck had crashed into was cleared with no injuries, but the driver had incurred minor injuries. No other information is available.
The incident remains under review.
