1 person hospitalized following a multi-vehicle accident in Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)

One person was hospitalized following a crash Saturday in Los Angeles that was reportedly caused by a wrong-way motorist.

As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the area just north of North Gower Street on the 101 Freeway at about 11:21 p.m. on reports of a multi-vehicle accident. One vehicle reportedly caught fire due to the collision.

On arrival, emergency responders worked to extinguish the burning vehicle. One person was taken to local area hospital in unknown condition. Officials believe that the traffic collision was caused by a wrong-way driver. No other details are available.

The wreck remains under review.
