Houston firefighters responded to a wreck and fire that took place a little after midnight near West Gulf Bank on the north freeway.  The incident is reported to have taken place in the early hours of Sunday.

According to sources, the firefighters discovered that the driver of a truck was stuck several feet underneath a big rig. The motor vehicle accident reportedly took place after the truck collided with an 18-wheeler.

The victim was airlifted to Memorial Hermann and is expected to make a full recovery. No details about the identity of the victim in this multi-vehicle collision have been provided yet.
