On Tuesday afternoon, at least one person sustained injuries after being struck by a vehicle on a busy Baton Rouge roadway.
As per the initial information, the auto-pedestrian crash took place on College Drive. The early reports showed that a vehicle hit two people in front of the popular Chick-fil-A restaurant, which is in the 3000 block of the busy thoroughfare.
One of the victims was transported to a medical facility with unspecified injuries and is expected to recover. As of 2:54 p.m., the crash site was cleared, officials mentioned. No other details are immediately available.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
