1 person hospitalized after a vehicle slams into a backhoe in Detroit (Detroit, MI)

On Friday, one person suffered injuries after their vehicle smashed into a backhoe parked on the other side of the street in Detroit.

As per the initial information, the traffic collision took place on Conant Street. The early reports showed that a car was traveling on the wrong side of Conant Street when it slammed into a parked backhoe. The machine was being used for street repair.

On arrival, emergency crews transported the driver of the car to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. The car was had major damage due to the accident. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under investigation.
