On Thursday, one person suffered injuries after a vehicle slammed into a coffee shop in Detroit.
As per the initial information, the single-vehicle crash took place at approximately 3:30 p.m. on East Jefferson. The early reports showed that a car crashed through the front window of The Red Hook for undetermined reasons.
On arrival, emergency crews transported a worker to a hospital, where they are expected to be okay. At this time, it is unknown if the woman driving the vehicle experienced a medical episode prior to the collision. No other details have been provided by the authorities.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
