On Monday morning, one person suffered injuries following a traffic collision on I-20.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place at 7:55 on I-20 near State Highway 155. The early reports showed that a fire engine was responding to a crash at the 576 exit westbound when a vehicle crashed into it. Both vehicles had major damage due to the accident.
On arrival, emergency crews transported the driver of the passenger vehicle to a local hospital in unknown condition. The firefighters did not receive any injuries. Traffic was moving slowly in the area due to the crash, officials said. No other details are available.
An investigation is ongoing.
