Two people suffered injuries following a traffic collision in Pasco.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle crash took place a little before 10 p.m. on I-182 heading east near Columbia Basin College. The preliminary investigation showed that one car failed to adjust for the curve in the road and crashed into another car and concrete barrier.
Officials said that car flipped and ended up in the median. The car had two passengers and the driver received minimal injuries but refused to be taken to the hospital. The passenger was transported to Kadlec Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
The driver of the second car remained unharmed in the accident. Everyone was reportedly buckled up at the time of the collision. Drugs and alcohol contributed to the crash, officials said. No other details are immediately available.
An investigation is ongoing.
