One person was injured after a traffic collision Saturday morning on 5 Freeway and Valencia Boulevard.
As per the initial information, the two-vehicle accident took place at around 9:45 a.m. on 5 Freeway and Valencia Boulevard. The preliminary reports showed that a black Honda sedan and a red Volkswagen were involved in the collision.
The preliminary reports showed that a vehicle veered off the freeway and went into an embankment. Due to the impact, one person was thrown from the Honda sedan. That person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The reports also indicated that the victim was driving recklessly before the crash. Also, the incident led to the closure of the northbound Valencia off-ramp from the northbound 5 Freeway. No other details are available.
The accident remains under investigation.
