1 person hospitalized after a solo-vehicle crash in northwest Austin (Austin, TX)

One person was hospitalized after a crash Friday in northwest Austin.

As per the initial information, the single-vehicle accident was reported at 10:11 a.m. on the service road in the 8200 block of N. MoPac Expressway. That is near MoPac’s intersection with Steck Avenue.

The early reports showed that a car ended up on its side in a small ditch next to a footbridge. On arrival, crews managed to stabilize the vehicle before removing the windshield to pull person out. The victim was then transported to a hospital in unknown condition. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear. No other details are available.

An investigation is underway.
