The Tukwila Fire Department and Washington State Patrol reported a multi-vehicle accident in Tukwila on Sunday.
The officials stated that the crash occurred in the 17800 block of northbound interstate 5 at around 5 p.m.
The crash involved three vehicles.
According to the official report, one person was taken to the area hospital to treat his injuries.
The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
The identity of the victim was not released by the officials.
No other casualties were reported in the crash by the WSP.
The WSP had closed three lanes of northbound Interstate 5 for further investigation.
