1 person hospitalized after a motorcycle crash in Clarksville (Clarksville, TN)

On Tuesday, a motorcyclist suffered injuries following a two-vehicle collision in Clarksville.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run crash took place at about 5 p.m. at Fort Campbell Boulevard and Ashbury Road. The early reports showed that a car crashed into the motorcycle for undetermined reasons. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

On arrival, emergency responders airlifted the motorcycle rider to a Nashville hospital with unspecified injuries. According to the officials, the car involved in the crash is a silver Nissan Altima. Two northbound lanes of 41A at Ashbury Road were initially blocked, but were later reopened. No additional information has been provided.

The incident remains under active review.
