On Tuesday, a pedestrian suffered injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Tucson.

As per the initial information, the hit-and-run accident took place at the westbound I-10 on-ramp at Milepost 258. The early reports showed that a vehicle struck one person for reasons that are yet to be known. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene after the collision.

On arrival, emergency responders transported the pedestrian to the hospital for treatment. The extent of injuries sustained by the victim is unknown at this time. According to the authorities, the suspect vehicle is a gray Toyota Tundra. The identity of the injured victim has not been revealed. No other details are immediately available.

The incident remains under active review.
