1 person hospitalized after a garbage truck crashes into two poles in Frayser (Memphis, TN)

A man suffered injuries after a garbage truck slammed into two poles in Frayser.

As per the initial information, officers actively responded to the intersections of Watkins Street and Frayser Boulevard a little after 12:30 p.m. in response to a single-vehicle accident. The early reports showed that a garbage truck hit two poles and the power was knocked out in the area.

The traffic light was not working. On arrival, emergency crews transported a man to Methodist with non-critical injuries. According to the responders, the repairs will take time to complete. No other details are made available.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
