One person was hospitalized after a crash Saturday evening on 5 Freeway, just north of Santa Clarita.
As per the initial information, the authorities actively responded to the northbound 5 freeway at Templin Highway, north of Santa Clarita after getting reports of a traffic accident at about 6:55 p.m. Saturday. One person was transported to the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Santa Clarita with unspecified injuries.
It was initially reported as a hit and run crash. As of this time, officers are still trying to find out if the crash was actually a hit and run. The incident did not cause any other major injuries. No other details have been provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
