1 Person Died In A Pedestrian Crash In Longview (Longview, TX)

According to the Longview Police, a pedestrian crash was reported on Tuesday morning. 

The officials stated that the crash happened at the 2400 block of E. Cotton Street when a pedestrian in a motorized wheelchair was hit by a passenger car. 

The officials stated that the crash happened at around 4:45 a.m. 

The victim was pronounced dead shortly after the police arrived at the scene. 

The identity of the deceased victim has still not been released by the Longview police. 

No additional information relating to the fatal crash was provided. 

The Police are investigating to confirm whether drugs, alcohol, or reckless driving was a factor involved in the crash.
