The Washington State Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Spokane Valley on Saturday morning.
Around 11:58 p.m. a collision happened on the westbound I-90 on-ramp off of Sprague.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the person are not yet released.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. Two lanes and the Sprague off-ramp were blocked by crews from the Washington State Department of Transportation, according to a press release from WSP, but all lanes have since been reopened.
