The Washington State Patrol reported a  motor vehicle crash in Snoqualmie on Monday evening.

According to the WSP, troopers responded to a collision on the westbound I-90 at Milepost 27 close to the Snoqualmie Casino at around 9:00 p.m.

The victim was crossing the fourth lane when a 27-year-old driver struck them. 

The victim was lying in the middle of the median when the police arrived and was declared dead at the scene.

The driver was unharmed in the collision and stayed at the scene. 

The deceased has not been identified yet..

Authorities do not think that this incident involved alcohol or drugs.

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
