The Scottsdale Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Scottsdale on Monday morning. The accident happened close to Downing Olson Drive and Pima Road at around 11:45 a.m.
The crash involved only one vehicle. The car veered off the road and into a ditch.
Two people were in the car, and they were both taken to the hospital. According to Scottsdale police, the driver’s injuries caused him to pass away. Non-life-threatening injuries were sustained by a female passenger. The identities of both victims have not yet been made public by the officials.
As police look into the fatal crash, the vicinity of the crash site might be closed to traffic.
