The California Highway Patrol reported a motor vehicle crash in Perris on Sunday morning. The accident happened on westbound SR 74, Hammock Ave East at around 5:30 a.m. The collision involved two vehicles.
According to the CHP, one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
