The Pearland Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash on Wednesday morning. The accident happened on SH 288 close to Beltway 8 at around 4 a.m.
The collision involved a pedestrian. The events leading up to the collision are not yet known.
Police confirmed that a pedestrian was killed in the crash. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public yet.
It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found. The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials.
