The Washington Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in North Bend.
The accident happened on Interstate 90 close to milepost 34 east of North Bend.
According to the WSP crash report, the 32-year-old pedestrian was standing in lane 2 of 3 of eastbound I-90 when they were struck.
Johnson claimed that the WSP had received a report of a pedestrian on the road.
At this time, it is unclear why the pedestrian was on the road.
Johnson reported that two drivers had stopped at the scene on Wednesday night.
One of the drivers who pulled over was 16 years old.
While the WSP is investigating, all lanes of eastbound I-90 were blocked for about three hours.
There is currently no other information available regarding the fatal crash.
