The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Macon on monday.
The accident happened at the Eisenhower Parkway 5000 block at around 11:19 p.m.
A Ford truck was moving west on Eisenhower Parkway when it fatally struck a man who was crossing the street, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
This incident did not result in any other injuries.
Law enforcement won’t reveal the deceased’s name until the next of kin has been informed.
It is unsure what caused the crash and if drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The crash is being investigated by the Police.
