1 Person Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Issaquah (Issaquah, WA)

The Police Department reported  a motor vehicle accident in Issaquah Island on Halloween night at around 11:15 p.m.

According to WSP, a 2008 Infiniti G35 and a Mercedes were traveling at a high rate of speed on Highlands Drive Northeast.

An 18-year-old Infinity’s driver ran a red light, and hit a third vehicle as it made a left turn onto Discovery Drive. He crashed into a light pole after losing control.

Two teenagers were not wearing seat belts and ejected from the vehicle.

The four teenagers were taken to the hospital for treatment and their conditions were unknown.

The third vehicle driver was uninjured.

Investigators said that it is unsure whether the racing was involved or not but speed was definitely a factor in the crash.

The Mercedes driver fled the scene, and troopers are looking for him.
