1 Person Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Greenville (Greenville, TX)

The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a motor vehicle crash on Friday in Greenville. According to DPS Sgt. Kyle Bradford, the collision happened at around 12:49 pm at the intersection of FM 118 and State Highway 224.

A Mitsubishi Mirage was traveling in the opposite direction of the Nissan Rogue on Highway 224. The Nissan struck the Mitsubishi Mirage head-on in the eastbound lane of traffic after attempting to pass a car in a no-passing zone.

The passenger of the Rogue was taken to the Medical City of Plano, while the driver was taken to Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville. The rear passenger and the driver of the Mirage were both taken to the Medical City of Plano. The additional passenger was declared dead at the scene. The identities of the injured have not been disclosed. 

The fatal collision is being investigated by the officials.
