The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Curry County at around 4:40 a.m.
The Cannon Airforce Base Airman, Shuan McNair, 20, of Cheyenne was driving a 2014 BMW westbound US 60/84 on Wednesday.
According to the officials, the BMW left the road, collided with a tree and rolled over.
The police confirmed that McNair was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is unclear what caused the crash and if alcohol was a factor.
The crash is being investigated by the officials.
Further information regarding the fatal crash is currently not available.
