The Police Department reported a motor vehicle crash in Clarksville.
The accident happened close to Rossview Road on Interstate 24 at around 6:15 a.m.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person died in the crash
The name and identity of the victim have not been released by the police.
It is unclear what caused the crash and how it happened.
Whether drugs or alcohol were involved is yet to be found.
The crash is being investigated by the officials.
The eastbound lanes of I-24 at Rossview Road remained closed until around 9:30 a.m. while the officials investigated the scene.
