1 Person Died In A Motor Vehicle Crash In Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM)

The Albuquerque Police Department reported a single-vehicle crash on Friday afternoon. The collision involves only one vehicle. The accident happened north of downtown in the Wells Park area. According to Rebecca Atkins, a spokeswoman for the APD, the collision happened in the 700 block of Aspen NW, close to Seventh, at around noon.

One person died in the crash. The name and identity of the victim have not been made public.

It is unsure what caused the crash and how it happened. The events leading up to the crash have not been disclosed. 

The fatal crash is being investigated by the officials. It is not yet known if alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident. Further details regarding the crash are not available currently.
